The following are guideline charges for UK next working day deliveries by insured carrier to UK mainland locations. There may be surcharges and/or extended delivery times to outlying areas.

    Please note the following summary of the main terms and conditions of business. A full copy of our Terms and Conditions of Sale, which apply to all sales made by Eyetech, is available on request. (Please forward a stamped, self-addressed envelope if you wish to receive a copy.)

    • Some of the specifications given for certain products are indicitive only, and are subject to change without prior notice - please ring/write for further details.
    • Please check prices, specifications and availability before ordering. Except for personal cheques received within 7 working days of out-of-stock products being expected in, it is our policy not to process funds or bank cheques until goods are available and ready for despatch.
    • If ordering by post or email please include a contact phone no. If ordering or requesting a carriage quotation by email please ensure that you state the delivery address - including the country - in the body of your text.
    • Goods are not supplied on a trial basis and are not refundable if you subsequently change your mind. Although we will do our best to advise you of products that we sell that are most suited to your requirements as we understand them, please note that it is your responsibility, not ours, to ensure that the goods you purchase are suitable for your requirements.
    • A1200 items are tested with a Rev 1.D.1 motherboard - other boards (particularly Commodore-manufactured rev 1.D.4 and 2B which have a manufacturing fault) may need a (charged) modification for satisfactory operation when expanded. Note also that additional accessories will require additional power, which may not be available from your existing power supply unit, and will generate extra heat which must be adequately dissipated for reliable operation. Unless stated to the contrary in the product descriptions the provision of additional power and cooling for the accessories you purchase is your responsibility.
    • Whilst we take all possible care to ensure that your order is correctly put together before shipping, it is your responsibility to check that goods supplied are in accordance with the invoiced description. If you discover any items missing from your order you should contact Eyetech by phone immediately. We will then arrange for the missing parts to be sent to you - or for the whole order to be collected and replaced - at our discretion. No claim for short shipment will be entertained after assembly or installation work has started, or more than 5 days after delivery to your nominated premises.
    • All significant electronic components are tested before shipping to minimise the risk of being dead-on-arrival. However you should test any components you have bought within 5 days of delivery and ring immediately if you suspect you have a component that has been damaged in transit or is otherwise faulty. Please do NOT under any circumstances return ANY goods without first obtaining a Returns Authorisation Number (RAN). In the case of genuinely defective products or components our liability is strictly limited to replacing, repairing or refunding the cost of that component. All forms of consequential loss are expressly excluded.
    • Note that many of the items we sell are components that require you to carry out some electrical assembly work yourself. You should only undertake such work provided that you are sufficiently skilled and confident, and have the appropriate tools and test equipment to carry out the work successfully. (For example - using an electrical test meter to ensure that the supply voltages are correct before connecting up an expansion accessory). Correct assembly and testing (unless you contract us or another competent company to do it for you) is your responsibility and at your risk. We, along with all similar component-supplying companies, expressly exclude all forms of consequential loss in our conditions of sale.
    • Errors and omissions are excepted.
